The Result
I lost by decision. I was able to handle my opponent standing, but he had good wrestling and took me down pretty consistently. I had opportunties for submissions, but failed to execute them as well as I had like.
For now, I am going to be leaving this blog alone. I apologize for not giving a detailed synopsis of the event, but this was started to serve as a commitment device; as such, it has fulfilled its purpose. Eventually, I’ll give the details; trust me, however, when I say that it was not quite as eventful as I had expected.
I can be contacted at cronks at northwood dot edu. Thank you for reading.

Best wishes for the future! A first competition is like a driving test: the worse you fuck it up 1st time, the more better you’ll do the times after :) (bad grammar there!)
